Presence Interactive (SARL) is looking to hire a passionate Web Developer, with both frontend and backend development experience, interested in joining our team, in Tangier, to build and evolve complex applications for our internal use.
Position reports to CTO.
Required Front End Experience:
- HTML – Demonstrated correct and semantic application of markup, including headers, lists, forms, etc. Table-less layouts. HTML 5 is a plus.
- CSS – Mastery of clean and efficient cross-browser styling techniques.
- Javascript – Strong knowledge of syntax, variables, and operators. Experience using basic features of debugging tools such as Firebug, or another inspector required.
Required Back End Experience:
- Linux – Some familiarity working from shell or terminal in Gnu/linux.
- Apache – Background with Apache web server, knowledge of basic configuration, optimization and authentication techniques. Nginx is a plus.
- MySQL – Knowledge of schemas, tables, users and privileges, principles of relational databases, SQL commands and Indexes.
- PHP5 – Very strong with PHP syntax and features. Understand variables, constants, arrays, loops, internal functions, php configurations, error logging/reporting, and OOP principals. PHP 5.3 and Unit Testing is a plus. Perl is a very welcoming plus.
- Analytics – Familiar with implementing and evaluating results from metric gathering technologies such as Google Analytics and Mixpanel.
- JSON – Familiar with JSON syntax, asynchronous javascript, and Restfull APIs.
